Staffing Coordinator / Care Scheduler
Amdal In-Home Care is seeking a dependable, organized, and compassionate Staffing Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring our clients receive consistent, quality care by coordinating caregiver schedules, filling open shifts, and supporting both clients and caregivers.
We are looking for someone who understands what quality care looks like. Former caregivers, PCAs, CNAs, Home Care Aides, or individuals with home care, healthcare, or staffing experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
(Hours to be determined)
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate caregiver schedules and client assignments
- Fill open shifts and respond to call-offs, schedule changes, and urgent staffing needs
- Match caregivers to clients based on skills, availability, and client needs
- Communicate effectively with caregivers, clients, and office staff
- Assist with caregiver onboarding, orientation, and ongoing support
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation
- Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with recruiting activities, applicant screening, and interview scheduling
- Support office operations through administrative and clerical tasks
- Help ensure compliance with company policies and care standards
Qualifications:
- Experience in caregiving, home care, healthcare, staffing, scheduling, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, PCA, CNA, Home Care Aide, or similar role strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with computers and scheduling software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a DOJ Live Scan background check
