Low-ratio preschool in Webster is looking for a loving, dependable Infant Teacher to join our team!
The ideal candidate is compassionate, patient, attentive, and has a genuine love for working with babies. We are looking for someone who understands that infant care is about more than meeting basic needs. It’s about creating a safe, nurturing environment where each child feels loved, secure, and supported.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing attentive, nurturing care to infants throughout the day
- Feeding, diapering, soothing, and assisting with individual routines
- Maintaining active supervision and a safe, clean classroom
- Engaging infants through age-appropriate play, tummy time, music, sensory activities, and interaction
- Following individual feeding, sleeping, and care instructions
- Maintaining accurate daily records and communicating with families
- Working cooperatively with co-teachers and administration
- Following all center policies, licensing requirements, and safe-sleep practices
What we're looking for:

- Comfortable caring for multiple infants
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and accept guidance
- Childcare or infant experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

- Tell me a little about your experience caring for infants. What ages have you worked with, and in what setting?
- Are you comfortable with all parts of infant care, such as diapering, feeding bottles, soothing crying babies, cleaning/sanitizing, and getting down on the floor throughout the day?
- Infant rooms involve a lot of cleaning and repetition. Bottles, toys, surfaces, diapering areas, laundry, documentation, etc. Are you willing to stay on top of those responsibilities while still keeping the babies your priority?
