Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Powersports Mechanic specializing in Side-by-Sides (SxS) and UTVs to join our service team. You will diagnose, repair, and customize top-tier off-road vehicles (including Polaris, Can-Am, Yamaha, and Honda). - Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on SxS and UTV units.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform oil changes, fluid flushes, valve adjustments, and brake services.
- Engine & Drivetrain: Rebuild engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials, and axles.
- Custom Upgrades: Install aftermarket accessories including lift kits, long-travel suspensions, winches, sound systems, and ECU tuners.
- Quality Control: Test-drive vehicles to ensure repairs meet strict safety and performance standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of parts used, labor hours, and work performed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience repairing powersports vehicles (SxS/UTV focus preferred).
- Tools: Must possess a complete set of personal hand tools and diagnostic equipment suitable for the trade.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fuel injection systems, CVT clutches, and electrical diagnostics.
- Certifications: MMI graduation or manufacturer certifications (Polaris MSA, Can-Am/BRP) are highly desirable but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
