Mathnasium is an after school Math Learning Center and has openings for a highly skilled and motivated instructors who have a strong math background and good communication skills. Must be engaging with children from grades 2-12 and be able to teach up through Algebra. Knowledge through Pre-Calculus preferred.

- Strong Math Acumen
- Ability to teach and work with kids from 2nd - High School Grade levels
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to walk, stand, and sit for multiple hours
- Upbeat and fun personality
- Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying mathematical concepts
- Ability to manage a classroom environment and engage students in learning
- Previous math tutoring experience is a plus, but not a requirement. A love of Math is though!
- Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed
- Shifts would be Monday-Thursday from 3PM-7PM and Sunday 2PM-6PM. We require applicants have at least two days available to work during the week (Monday through Thursday). Please note ALL applicants need to be able to start at 3PM. Example: You can work Mondays from 3PM-7PM and Thursday 3PM-5PM, that is perfectly fine!
- We are also looking for instructors that can teach at our partnered education centers
All of the instruction is done within the Mathnasium Center, no meeting students at homes, libraries, or Starbucks! This is an in-person position so remote work is not available.
Pay: $15.25 - $17.25 per hour
