Trust Administrator
CPT Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1994, dedicated to protecting government benefits for individuals with disabilities and those at risk through education, advocacy, and trust administration services. We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Trust Administrator to join our growing team.
As a Trust Administrator, you will serve as a primary point of contact for Trust Beneficiaries, attorneys, and referral sources by providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. Position Details
- Job Title: Trust Administrator
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
- Reports To: Director of Trust Administration
- Travel: Up to 25% travel may be required
Key ResponsibilitiesTrust Administration & Client Support
- Serve as a primary contact for Trust Beneficiaries, attorneys, and referral sources.
- Review and process trust disbursement requests accurately and timely while ensuring compliance with trust guidelines and fund availability.
- Assist with the preparation and review of trust documents, amendments, and related legal paperwork.
- Conduct orientations for new and prospective Trust Beneficiaries regarding trust policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate beneficiary records and trust account documentation.
- Coordinate with government agencies, healthcare providers, social workers, attorneys, and external vendors as needed.
Customer Service
- Provide outstanding customer service through phone, email, and virtual or in-person meetings.
- Respond to inquiries regarding trust accounts, government benefit requirements, and trust procedures.
- Help clients understand and navigate complex processes with empathy and professionalism.
- Identify opportunities to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Administrative Support
- Manage incoming correspondence, emails, and departmental communications.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
- Utilize CRM systems to document interactions and manage case information.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and special projects within the Trust Administration Department.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in customer service, trust administration, case management, legal support, financial services, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency with computer systems, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Notary Public certification.
- Experience working with trusts, public benefits, nonprofit organizations, or vulnerable populations.
