Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate and become an essential part of our distribution operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of inventory, handling parts, and maintaining accurate stock levels. Your proactive approach will support efficient warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, and shipping & receiving processes. In this role, you will also be responsible for assisting the Fleet Department as needed. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, fleet operation, and materials handling while contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Manage inventory control by accurately stocking, picking & packing orders, and conducting regular stock counts.
- Pick, stage, and prepare materials for internal use or delivery.
- Support manufacturing and construction-related tasks by handling materials with mechanical knowledge and ensuring proper packaging for shipment.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Support our fleet operation, including vehicle movement and basic checks.
- Perform vehicle clean-outs and basic upkeep to ensure fleet vehicles remain clean, organized, and job-ready.
Qualifications
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in inventory management, stocking, order picking & packing, and receiving.
- Valid certification or experience operating forklifts.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and materials handling.
- Ability to lift 50+lbs as needed.
- Ability to travel as needed for vehicle relocation and inventory needs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Hours: 7am to 4pm
Location: Norcross, GA
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
