Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Assist with chairside procedures such as applying fluoride treatments, sealants, and local anesthesia when necessary.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Utilize dental imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning while maintaining strict infection control protocols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.
- Experience with Open Dental is a plus. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively about treatment plans and oral health education.
Pay: $40.00 - $46.00 per hour
