- Safely transport residents/patients to appointments, procedures, and scheduled outings
- Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed
- Secure wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility equipment properly
- Maintain a friendly, respectful, and professional demeanor at all times
- Follow all traffic laws and company transportation policies
- Keep vehicle clean, fueled, and in good working condition
- Complete transportation logs and required documentation accurately
- Report vehicle maintenance needs, incidents, or concerns promptly
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, scheduling staff, and leadership regarding transport needs
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and any required screenings
- Previous driving experience preferred, especially in healthcare or senior care settings
- Ability to safely assist individuals with mobility needs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality required
- CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain, if required)
- Part-time hours based on facility needs
- Flexible weekday schedule may include occasional evenings or weekends
