Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Job Summary:
The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for clients, primarily focusing on children with behavioral challenges.
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and improve overall functioning.
- Monitor and document client progress, ensuring accurate medical documentation in compliance with organizational standards.
- Provide behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors effectively.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to develop care plans that align with client needs and goals.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health.
Qualifications of the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is preferred.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental or behavioral disorders, is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and patient care practices is essential.
- A background in implementing care plans is an advantage.
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
