Job Description:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team.
- This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for site development projects, including earthwork, underground utilities, paving, and concrete.
- The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in takeoffs and estimating software, and comfortable collaborating with leadership and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize AGTEK Earthwork software for quantity takeoffs and analysis
- Review project drawings, specifications, and geotechnical logs
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for: Earthwork, Underground Utilities,
Paving and Finish Items, Specialty items:
- Solicit and evaluate: Material pricing, Subcontractor pricing
- Build and maintain detailed bid spreadsheets, including: Material costs,
Labor costs, Subcontractor pricing:
- Participate in bid reviews with the Chief Estimator
- Visit job sites to support accurate bidding
- Communicate and follow up with General Contractors before and after bid submission
- Conduct weekly bid follow-ups to track project status
- Upon award: Review contracts and scopes with leadership and Project Manager, Support project handoff
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of estimating experience in site development, excavation, or civil construction
- Experience with Takeoff Software
- Strong understanding of: Earthwork, Underground utilities, Concrete, and paving scopes
- Ability to read and interpret: Construction plans, Specifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with General Contractors on competitive bids
- Experience with HeavyBid.
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Experience:
Construction estimating: 3 years (Required)
Salary might get bump up depending on experience.
Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
