Home Health Aide / Caregiver (Vietnamese-Speaking Male Preferred)
Overview
We are currently seeking a Vietnamese-speaking male Home Health Aide (HHA) or Caregiver to provide compassionate, professional in-home care for a Vietnamese-speaking male client. The ideal candidate is caring, dependable, respectful, and committed to helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's condition.
- Assist with medication reminders as directed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean, safe home environment.
- Safely transfer and reposition clients using proper lifting techniques and assistive equipment when necessary.
- Maintain accurate care documentation and protect client confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Vietnamese and able to communicate in English.
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, Caregiver, CNA, or Personal Care Assistant preferred.
- Experience caring for seniors, clients with dementia, or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- CPR, First Aid, or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and professional.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely.
