Position Overview
Memorial Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endoscopy team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and positive experience throughout their care journey.
The ideal candidate is a patient-focused professional with strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care in a fast-paced procedural setting.
What You'll Do
- Assess, plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and preventative health measures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to evidence-based clinical practices.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, sterile technique, and patient safety standards.
- Advocate for patients and support their physical, emotional, and educational needs.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current registration or eligibility for licensure with the State of Illinois for practice as a professional nurse - RN.
- BLS & CPR required.
- ACLS preferred.
