Role Overview
We’re looking for a motivated Director of Sales & Business Development to take ownership of growing our sales efforts. This is a hands-on role focused on generating new business, building client relationships, and closing deals.
You’ll be responsible for creating and managing your own pipeline through outreach, cold calling, and developing new opportunities. From there, you’ll guide clients through the process from initial concept to production, ensuring a strong experience and long-term retention.
This role starts as an individual contributor, but as you succeed, you’ll have the opportunity to help build and lead a sales team under you.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable picking up the phone, confident in front of clients, and motivated by results. Experience in printing, direct mail, or marketing is a plus, but drive and ability to close matter most.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities in assigned industries
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients
- Present tailored solutions, proposals, and pricing to prospective clients
- Collaborate with internal design, production, and logistics teams to ensure flawless campaign execution
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, postal regulations, and competitor offerings
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience (print, marketing, or advertising preferred)
- Proven ability to hit or exceed sales targets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts/projects
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
