Job Details

Current licensure and certification as a Speech Language Pathologist in Texas
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
Experience working with children with dysphagia, communication disorders, and language disorders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills

Conduct patient assessments in homes, daycares or other natural environments to determine speech and language disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients
Provide speech therapy services to pediatric patients in the child’s home, daycare, or other natural environment
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and their families on speech and language techniques
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Preferred 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
Experience working with pediatric patients
Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and interventions for various diagnoses
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the impact on speech and language disorders

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
Proficient in conducting comprehensive patient evaluations and providing evidence-based therapy interventions
Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation requirements
