The department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine seeks a visionary, collaborative and clinically accomplished leader to serve as the inaugural Director of its newly established Center of Excellence for Dysautonomia. This is a rare opportunity to shape and lead a transformative program at one of the nation's premier academic medical institutions, located in the heart of the Texas Medical Center-the largest medical complex in the world.
Reporting to the Chair of the Department of Neurology, the Director will serve as the strategic and clinical leader of the Center, driving innovation in patient care, research and education. The Center is designed to integrate multidisciplinary clinical services, translational research and training programs to advance the understanding and treatment of autonomic disorders. With strong institutional and philanthropic support, the Director will have the resources to build a nationally recognized program that prioritizes coordinated care, cutting-edge diagnostics and access to advanced therapies and clinical trials.
The successful candidate will be a board-certified physician with recognized expertise in dysautonomia and will have a minimum of five years of post-residency experience. They will bring a proven track record in clinical program development, interdisciplinary collaboration and autonomic testing. The Director will hold a faculty appointment in the Department of Neurology, commensurate with academic rank and experience, and will be expected to contribute to Baylor’s academic mission through research, teaching and mentorship.
