Purpose of Position:
Del Monte Foods is the Foods Division of Fresh Del Monte, a global grower, producer and marketer of fresh, value-added, and shelf-stable produce. Del Monte Foods has a powerful portfolio of brands, including the iconic Del Monte®, Contadina® and S&W®. We are currently seeking a Digital Shelf Content Specialist.
The Digital Shelf Content Specialist will be responsible for the creation, optimization and distribution of product marketing content across retailer websites and e-commerce platforms to maximize discoverability and conversion.
Accountabilities:

Own PDP content creation and optimization, with an eye towards GEO / AEO, including titles, bullets, descriptions, imagery, video and A+ modules, partnering closely with Business Leads, Agency partners, legal and regulatory, ensuring alignment, accuracy and consistency.

Oversee PDP content creation for new items, ensuring assets are scoped, created, uploaded and syndicated in time for retail launch dates.

Conduct new item keyword research and search term optimization to maximize organic visibility.

Upload and maintain all digital shelf content within Salsify and designated file sharing locations.

Design and implement workflows or project management system to track content updates.

Conduct ongoing gap audits and assessments, sharing outages to address, key competitor intel and ongoing content needs to inform future creative briefs.

Manage content syndication tool (e.g. Salsify, Syndigo) subscriptions and relationships, leveraging capabilities to maintain and distribute digital shelf content to as many retailer platforms as possible, while optimizing towards efficiency.

Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Digital Shelf Content Creation and Syndication, staying on top of customer and platform best practices and capabilities.

Stand up content monitoring and benchmarking software, establishing key performance indicators, such as content completeness, search rankings, conversion rate, share of voice and organic traffic.

Partner with Omni Activation Managers to develop and maintain digital shelf content strategies across key retailers (Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger, Instacart, etc.) taking into consideration standards and best practices, customer platform style guides and syndication tool capabilities.

Partner with Omni Activation Managers to develop, optimize and implement A+ Content, templatizing and standardizing to scale.

Support Omni Activation Managers with syndication including Mapping Custom Channels and facilitating bulk updates.

Edit existing assets using keyword research or tools like Canva or Photoshop, as needed.

Partner with Digital Manager to identify and repurpose lifestyle assets to enhance Retail Product Listings.
Minimum Skills Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree required.
-
3-5 years of ecommerce content or digital shelf experience, both creation and syndication of assets.

Deep expertise in content syndication or PIM/DAM tools (Salsify, Syndigo, etc.).

Strong understanding of SEO and digital merchandising.

Familiarity with digital shelf requirements and standards across key CPG grocery, mass, club, pure play, and/or delivery networks.

Demonstrates both creative and analytical mindset.

Excellent project management and cross-functional communication skills.

Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva. Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
