Our growing retail business is looking for a skilled problem solver to join our team! We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to our customer's issues and then offer a unique and innovative solution to each problem. As part of our team, you will act as a liaison, providing general product information to customers, assisting with order details, and resolving any emerging problems that our customers may encounter with accuracy and efficiency. The individual that we're searching for is patient, empathetic, solution-driven, passionately communicative, and has the ability to put themselves in our customer's shoes and advocate for them when necessary. Customer feedback is priceless to our retail company, and the interactions between our customers and Fishing Online employees generates 75% of our feedback. You don't have to always have all the answers but be confident enough at troubleshooting and investigating if you don’t have enough information to resolve customer complaints. The target is to ensure above-and-beyond service standards, respond efficiently and timely to customer inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls and emails
- Provide customers with general product information
- Respond to all customer's reviews on our website
- Maintain a high level of customer feedback and reviews
- Turn frustrated customers into repeat customers
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within reason; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions as it pertains to their orders
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
- Assist the Office Manager as needed
Qualification Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma/GED required (Associate Degree in a business field preferred)
- 1-year of Customer Service-related experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
- Customer-oriented and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Must have reliable transportation to work
- Knowledge of Outdoor/Fishing Retail industry a plus
Additional Details:
- Standard hours are Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
