About the Role
PTS is an oil and gas services company specializing in well testing. We're looking for a motivated, mechanically inclined individual to join our well test team. No prior experience required — we'll train the right person.
What You'll Do
- Rig up, inspect, test, and rig down well test equipment at job sites
- Monitor equipment during operations and watch for malfunctions or leaks
- Take manual readings of pressures, temperatures, fluid rates, and tank levels
- Collect fluid samples and perform basic lab fluid analysis
- Assist with data acquisition unit setup, including cable rigging and transmitter testing
- Record and review job data for accuracy and report findings to your supervisor
- Perform equipment maintenance at the job site and upon return to the shop
- Load and transport equipment in compliance with company and customer safety regulations
- Clean, inspect, and help maintain all mechanical equipment after each job
- Attend all required HSE training sessions
- Work toward full Operator qualification through the PTS Training Program
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to work in a hands-on, physical field environment.
- Basic math skills: comfortable with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, rates, and unit conversions
- Able to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Takes direction well and communicates clearly
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player
