Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
- Passion for working with children and experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred for SLP services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication needs
- Support students’ academic achievement and classroom participation by providing targeted interventions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure cohesive service delivery
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
