Pay Range: $18–$23 per hour.
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
Reports To: Concentrates Lead
Position Summary
The Concentrates Packaging Associate supports wholesale and internal order fulfillment operations for JAR concentrates. This role ensures products are accurately weighed, labeled, packaged, and prepared for delivery in compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Maine cannabis regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Packaging & Production
- Weigh, label, and package various concentrates including sugar, batter, shatter, rosin, and related products.
- Sticker and package cartridges according to company quality standards
- Meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining accuracy.
Order Fulfillment
- Assemble wholesale concentrate orders, ensuring correct product selection and compliance labeling.
- Verify labels and packaging meet regulatory and company standards.
- Prepare completed orders for pickup or delivery.
- Communicate with the logistics team to coordinate order completion timelines.
Workplace Standards & Compliance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
- Follow all company SOPs and state cannabis regulations.
- Work independently and collaboratively within the production team.
- Communicate any discrepancies or quality concerns to leadership promptly.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Individual Identification Card (IIC) for employment in a licensed cannabis facility.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot or make adjustments as needed.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good communication skills for coordination with logistics and production teams.
- Knowledge of state cannabis regulations preferred (training available).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and operate packaging equipment safely.
