Your Tasks
Provides electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical drawings to maintenance technicians to aid in repair and troubleshooting of stamping presses.
Receives quotes to refurbish, repair and maintain stamping presses from vendors and other outside resources.
Schedules stamping press PM and Work Order completions in conjunction with Maintenance Coordinator and Stamping Operations Manager
Monitors PM frequencies and content in conjunction with Maintenance coordinator
Ensures that spare part inventory is adequate for stamping press sizes and quantities
Coordinates stamping improvement projects and repairs
Troubleshoots ladder logic code and other configurable automated control systems
Assist in necessary repairs to damaged equipment (to the component level if needed).
Provides support to other departments and team members as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
Prepares work schedules with interim end target estimates for all projects within his/her responsibility.
Searches out and implements new technologies and Continuous Improvement opportunities.
Maintain proper filing system to ensure all information is properly stored and easily retrieved.
Carries out assigned responsibilities under IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
Any other reasonable request made by management.
Contributes to a safe, clean and comfortable work environment that complements the Occupational Health and Safety Act by ensuring the principles of the work place organization are supported and adhered to.
Ensures he/she is in full compliance with the federal and state laws of Michigan and/or any other state, while representing KAT or during the use of any KAT provided equipment.
Your Profile
Work Experience (provide details and minimum # of years required)
Experience in the automotive industry with exposure to building equipment, programmable logic control, electrical, robotics, etc.
Working knowledge of Advanced Quality Planning processes.
Excellent blue-print reading ability.
Ability to understand and work with Cad Data and Wire Frame drawings.
Skills (language, technical, computer etc.)
Sound understanding of IATF 16949/ISO 14001 requirements
Working knowledge of processes
Computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, CAD key
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Effective problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to handle multi-tasks and changing priorities
Works well in a team environment
