Salary Range: $433,000 - $525,000

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Join an established group of 5 Ophthalmologists and 3 Optometrists
-
Current need is for high volume cataract surgeon-general ophthalmologist
- Currently there are specialists in medical retina, pediatrics and glaucoma. Sub-specialty interest in glaucoma, oculoplastic, cornea and cataract surgery would be welcome

The support staff is well trained and experienced in both the clinic and operating room
- On call is every 5th weekend and rarely busy

Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region

Requirements

MD, DO or MBBS
-
BE/BE in Ophthalmology
-
Completion of an accredited USA Ophthalmology

New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain)

BLS Certification Required

Compensation

Salary Range: $433,000 - $525,000 plus performance-based compensation.
- This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards

Residency stipend up to $40,000 for up to 18 months prior to graduation
- Sign-on Bonus up to $100,000

Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment
