We are looking for a 2nd Shift Powder Coater for our Pflugerville, TX facility.
2nd Shift: (3:30pm to 12:00am; M-F)
Primary Responsibilities
- Applies powder on parts/assemblies in accordance with product specifications
- Performs in-process checks to assure that the process is in control
- Unloads parts, part racks, and hooks from the line while visually inspecting completed parts
- Sets powder equipment for proper tolerances, color and feed rate
- Responsible for work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work area
- Must be able to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs.
- Follow ISO 9001:2015 procedures.
Qualifications:
- Possesses strong attention to detail for accurate and repeatable measurements, recording data and interpreting blueprints
- Understanding of metal types
- Strong work ethic, attendance, punctuality, and initiative
- A supportive team member who works collaboratively within a group.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
- Follows OSHA Requirements, Safety, Good Housekeeping and EVS Policies and Procedures.
Education and Experience
- Has a minimum of a High School diploma/GED
- 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred
- At least 1 year of prior experience powder coating sheet metal.
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Perform repetitive movements
- Bend and lift, loading and unloading work pieces into the machine, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
