Full-Time Maintenance Technician
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Compensation: $16.00 per hour
Part-Time Maintenance Work Camper
- Schedule: 20 hours per week
- Compensation: Complimentary site rent plus a $100 monthly electric credit
- Important Requirement: This position requires living on-site in your own RV. It is ideal for RV travelers or those planning to live the RV lifestyle.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play an essential role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of Cove Creek RV Resort. You'll perform a variety of preventative and corrective maintenance tasks while helping ensure our campground, rental units, and community amenities remain clean, safe, and welcoming for our guests and residents.
Key ResponsibilitiesFacilities & Utility Management
- Maintain campground utilities and infrastructure.
- Secure utilities on vacant sites by installing caps on sanitary lines, locking electrical pedestals, covering exposed water lines, and removing old tie-downs.
- Monitor water meters and identify leaks.
- Order maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment with management approval.
- Keep maintenance equipment, tools, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Perform monthly inspections of community-owned homes and rental units.
- Track and maintain community assets, including buildings, grounds, equipment, and pools.
Preventative Maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections of homes and common areas.
- Perform preventative maintenance, including changing filters, lubricating moving parts, and inspecting appliances.
- Address minor repairs before they become larger issues.
Corrective Maintenance
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and mechanical issues.
- Repair roofs, siding, doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and other structural components.
- Complete general carpentry and maintenance tasks as needed.
Community & Grounds Maintenance
- Maintain landscaping, sidewalks, parking areas, and other common spaces.
- Assist with the maintenance of pools, playgrounds, clubhouses, and other shared amenities.
- Help maintain safe conditions during winter weather through snow removal and de-icing when necessary.
Rental Unit Turns
- Complete make-ready work for rental units.
- Perform move-in and move-out inspections.
- Complete refurbishment projects as assigned.
Emergency Response
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including water leaks, electrical issues, and other safety concerns.
Safety
- Perform all work in accordance with company safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of general maintenance, construction, or related experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and carpentry.
- Home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.
- HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pool operation, or OSHA certifications are a plus.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
