Compensation & Performance Bonuses

In addition to a competitive base salary, this position includes quarterly performance bonuses tied to measurable outcomes including enrollment growth and retention, family satisfaction and engagement, staff retention and development, and regulatory compliance and accreditation standards. Bonus targets and payout structure will be discussed during the interview process, but top-performing directors can expect meaningful additions to their total compensation throughout the year.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Director to help lead our large, thriving preschool. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education administration and demonstrate excellent leadership skills. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our preschool program, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education and our staff are supported and motivated.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our preschool program, including curriculum development and implementation.
- Manage and develop a team of preschool teachers, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure staff deliver a magical preschool experience.
- Ensure the center is operating efficiently and effectively, meeting all enrollment targets and operational benchmarks.
- Collaborate with ownership and the education administration team to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
- Communicate proactively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Foster a positive and supportive school culture where students, families, and teachers feel valued and included.
- Manage and maintain preschool facilities, ensuring they are safe, clean, and well-maintained at all times.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations and community groups to enhance the program and provide additional resources for families.
Qualifications — Required
- Must hold a Director's Credential with VPK endorsement.
- Proven leadership and management experience in a preschool or childcare setting.
- Experience in preschool classroom management with the ability to multitask in a large center environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
- Strong knowledge of DCF and Palm Beach County licensing rules and regulations.
- Passion for education and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality experiences for young children.
- Familiarity with early childhood education best practices and standards.
Qualifications — Preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Food Program (CACFP) knowledge and experience.
- School Readiness and GOLD assessment program experience.
- HubSpot CRM knowledge for family communication and enrollment management.
