Accentuate Staffing is assisting an infrastructure services company in the Raleigh, NC area with hiring a Part-Time Shop Laborer/Driver to join their team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity working approximately 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule based on your availability. Additional hours may become available as business needs increase.
Responsibilities:
- Drive company vehicles to service vendors as needed
- Transport trailers to and from service locations
- Install GPS systems and vehicle cameras
- Assist with outfitting trucks, vans, and SUVs with fuel tanks, pumps, hose reels, and related equipment
- Perform basic wiring associated with vehicle equipment installations
- Apply company decals and vehicle branding
- Organize, stock, and ship uniforms and PPE to field technicians
- Build, inventory, and tag tool kits for field crews
- Inspect returned vehicles, clean out equipment, and restock supplies and parts
- Maintain organized inventory areas and ensure materials are properly stored
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
- Comfortable driving company vehicles and towing trailers
- Ability to perform basic mechanical tasks and minor wiring
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed
- Previous experience with vehicle upfitting, inventory, or fleet support is a plus
