Here at Home Healthcare is a family-owned home care agency serving St. Louis and surrounding communities, including Farmington, Rolla, Cuba, and Troy. Every family who starts care with us begins with a complimentary in-home assessment by one of our nurses. We are adding to that assessment team.
What you'll do
- Visit a prospective client at home and complete our assessment form: health history, mobility, daily routine, safety in the home, and what kind of help the family is looking for
- Finish your documentation the same day so our care manager can build the care plan from it
- Let us know about anything the family should be aware of before care starts
Each assessment is a two-hour block: about an hour in the home and about an hour of documentation. Visits are scheduled as shifts, rotated among our assessment nurses, and usually booked one or two days out. This is the only clinical visit in our process. The ongoing care we provide is non-medical, so there is no medication administration, wound care, or case management after the visit.
What we're looking for
- Active Missouri RN or LPN license in good standing
- Home health, home care, hospice, or geriatric experience preferred
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within our service area
- Availability for daytime visits on one to two days' notice
- Completed background check before starting
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
