We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by regularly cleaning surfaces, floors, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and helping cooks with basic food prep duties.
- Ensure that all items are properly sanitized and stored in designated areas after washing.
- Support kitchen staff by keeping the dish area organized and free of clutter.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a clean working environment.
- Help with inventory management by notifying supervisors of low stock on cleaning supplies or kitchen tools.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Willingness to help others in the kitchen and collaborate as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of culinary practices is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
