Part time position - 3 shifts per week.
Love Creamery’s Delivery Driver is an integral part of our fulfillment team. On an average day this role will drive our Ice Cream truck to various customer locations to deliver ice cream, as well as work with the ice cream production and front of house teams to purchase and stock important inventory items needed for the fulfillment of all our products and assist in making ice cream treats. The role will also pick-up other responsibilities as needed, especially in the off-season when delivery needs are reduced.
Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities
Performs work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, and delivery of products and materials. Loads, unloads, moves, and stores items according to delivery routing documents, customer orders or supervisor instructions. Operates a hand truck and manual pallet jack. Manages other duties as assigned.
Duties:
- Package orders accurately
- Safely and efficiently load and unload delivery vehicles
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Operate automatic transmisson ford transit van
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working order
- Accurately and timely Invoice customers using mobile app
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including friendly interactions and professional communication
- Maintains warehouse and inventory of storage products at all stores
- Works with daily team to keep Back of House and Front of House stocked with needed ingredients and warehoused items
- Comply with food safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Be available 3 days a week aprox. 8AM-3PM
- Proficiency in operating vehicles of various sizes
- Knowledge of route driving and navigation systems
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate equipment for loading/unloading purposes
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects up to 70Lbs
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Strong attention to detail to accurately record delivery information
- Ability to withstand working inside a freezer
- Ability to use smartphone apps for reporting and invoicing and inventory
- Must be able to navigate all facilities including stairs
- Must be able to stand for extender periods of time
- Work 3 shifts per week during the summer (May-Sept) - min 2 days off season (Oct-March)

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
