We are seeking an experienced Flat Rate Technician to join our growing Reconditioning Shop at Hyundai of Trenton! The ideal candidate will have experience working on various makes and models and be comfortable performing repairs, maintenance, and minor diagnostics.

Flat Rate Technician Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicles and diagnose repair needs
Perform quality repairs and maintenance on all makes and models
Complete assigned reconditioning work efficiently and accurately
Perform repairs including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, and other vehicle systems
Identify and communicate additional repair needs
Maintain a safe and clean workspace
Continue learning new technical information and repair procedures
Flat Rate Technician Requirements:
Automotive service technician experience required
Experience working on multiple makes and models preferred
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality work
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Clean driving record
Manufacturer and/or ASE certifications a plus
Automotive technical school graduate a plus
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
