We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud System Administrator to support the deployment, administration, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and applications in a secure environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong Linux administration skills and experience working with containerized applications, automation tools, and cloud technologies.

Perform Linux system administration tasks, including system monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Remotely connect to Linux systems using SSH to perform administrative and support functions.

Install, configure, and maintain software packages using RPM and YUM package management tools.

Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
-
Configure and support Traefik ingress controllers and related networking components.
-
Gather system status, performance metrics, and health information from Linux-based environments.
-
Develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible.
-
Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.

Install, configure, and maintain applications using Helm charts within Kubernetes environments.

Support cloud operations, system upgrades, security patching, and configuration management activities.
-
Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps teams, and system administrators to ensure reliable and scalable cloud services.

Troubleshoot system, application, and infrastructure issues to maintain operational availability.

Understanding of networking, security, and access management concepts within cloud environments

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relevant cloud, Linux, or Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
Clearance:
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
