Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging Montessori curriculum tailored to individual student needs and developmental stages
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes independence, respect, and curiosity among children
- Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, activity setup, and behavior management
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and address any concerns effectively
- Incorporate best practices in early intervention, literacy education, and childhood development into daily lessons
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that supports child welfare and classroom management standards
Requirements
- Certification or diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent Montessori training from an accredited program
- Proven classroom experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings
- Strong knowledge of Montessori curriculum development, behavior management techniques, and childhood development principles
- Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners
- Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics while fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment
