This is a full-time Automotive Technician position in Grand Rapids with hourly pay, attainable progressive bonuses, no flat rate, no warranty work, no Fridays, and no weekends. You’ll have room to do quality work without the corporate hoops, micromanagement, or pressure to rush through diagnostic problems that deserve real testing time.
You’ll work in a small, tight-knit shop where the owner has spent 25 years as a technician and understands what life is actually like in the bays. Diagnostic work is respected here. Your home life matters here. If a tool, scan tool, or piece of equipment makes your job easier, it gets taken seriously without big-business red tape.
You’ll fit well here if you are certified, solid with diagnostics, somewhat tech savvy, relatively self-sufficient, detail-oriented, quality-minded, and motivated to keep growing professionally. Your communication, attitude, ownership, and customer-service mindset all matter here.
