Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Warehouse Maintenance Technician to support daily operations by maintaining and repairing warehouse equipment, forklifts, company trucks, and facility systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and experienced in mechanical and general maintenance work.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on forklifts and other material-handling equipment
- Perform basic to advanced maintenance and repairs on company trucks
- Maintain warehouse building systems (doors, docks, racking, lighting, plumbing, minor electrical, etc.)
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Keep maintenance records and report major repair needs
- Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience repairing forklifts and industrial equipment
- Experience with truck maintenance and basic diesel/gas engine repair
- General warehouse and facility maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic hand and power tool proficiency
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, not required)
- Ability to lift up to [weight] lbs and work in a warehouse environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift certification
- Welding experience
- Electrical or HVAC experience
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience
