Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (mid/evening shift)

13-week contract

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology (education verification required)

ARRT(R) registration required; ARRT(CT) also listed as a certification requirement

WI-DSPS Radiographer License required if applicable

Current AHA BLS certification (provider level)

Proficiency with PACS and radiology information systems

Responsibilities include performing radiographic procedures, selecting and operating imaging equipment, and positioning patients to best demonstrate the anatomic area of interest

Reviews patients' clinical history to ensure appropriate orders and labs are in range, coordinating with the radiologist as needed

Applies ALARA principles and radiation protection protocols to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others

Documents and reports X-Ray safety incidents and adverse events per protocol

Processes images and performs quality control review prior to submission for physician interpretation

Assists with medical record and image sharing as needed
