The Opportunity: We Are Looking for a Builder
We are not looking for someone to simply manage an existing department—we are looking for a Builder.
Today, Club Northwest features one of the most unique foundations for youth programming in the nation, including a large indoor play center, NinjaZone programming, swim lessons, camps, youth activities, and extensive outdoor amenities. The opportunity is not to maintain what exists; it is to build one of the premier youth development programs in America!
As the Director of Youth Programming and Development, your primary outcome will be to lead, grow, and continuously improve a world-class youth division. You will create extraordinary experiences for children, earn deep trust from families, coach an exceptional team, and drive strong, sustainable profitability through operational excellence and innovative programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Growth & Business Development: Drive enrollment and retention across all youth programs, develop new revenue streams, form strategic B2B community partnerships, and create high-converting registration processes.
- Youth Programming Excellence: Lead all youth programs—including camps, NinjaZone, after-school care, enrichment, youth athletics, and special events—ensuring they are engaging, developmental, and aligned with club values.
- Aquatics Leadership: Oversee swim lesson programming and aquatics operations, improving enrollment, retention, staffing efficiency, and safety standards.
- Team Leadership & Culture: Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing team of Serriors, creating a culture of ownership, accountability, excellence, and care.
- Family Experience & Retention: Build deep, relational trust with member families through transparent communication, ensuring every family feels known, valued, and supported.
- Operations & Safety: Maintain rigorous standards for supervision, cleanliness, facility readiness, and safety compliance across all youth spaces.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven Track Record: 5+ years of experience leading youth-focused programming, recreation, athletics, camps, aquatics, or enrichment operations.
- Demonstrated Growth: Proven success scaling participant enrollment, program retention, gross revenue, and profitability.
- Exceptional Leadership: Demonstrated capability to recruit, coach, and lead high-performing teams while developing future leaders.
- Business Acumen & Communication: Strong financial accountability, organizational skills, and charismatic verbal and written communication.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Relational, growth-oriented, and energized by creating world-class experiences that help children and families thrive.
