Position Description
We are seeking a compassionate, highly organized, and detail-oriented medical administrator & patient care coordinator to join our private healthcare practice. This position plays an instrumental role in delivering a positive experience for patients while helping the office run smoothly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, excels at multitasking, and brings a strong sense of initiative and ownership to their work.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients in a warm and professional manner
- Answer and manage communications from current and prospective patients
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate provider calendars
- Prepare treatment rooms and set patients up for treatment
- Process payments and assist with billing/insurance-related tasks
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide administrative support to clinical staff and assist with day-to-day office operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare, hospitality, concierge setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and patient-focused demeanor
- Comfortable learning new software and technology
Position Details
- This is a part-time position with the opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance and practice needs.
- Available to work 15-20 hours per week to start.
- Typical office hours are Monday to Friday 9 - 6 PM and Saturday 9 - 2 PM. We can work with you to create a schedule that fits both your availability and the needs of the practice.
- Must be available to work in person at our Upper West Side office
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
