Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health care to patients in an outpatient telehealth-hybrid environment. This role requires a strong understanding of psychopharmacology, clinical research, and the ability to work with diverse populations, including those with developmental disabilities.
Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications while monitoring patient responses.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals and families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance mental health practices.
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and family planning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Address the unique needs of patients in various settings, including hospital environments and medical offices.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) as well as an active DEA license and MCSR.
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy modalities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in mental health care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Pay: Up to $414,720.00 per year
