We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic cleaning team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
- Clean carpets using specialized equipment to remove stains, dirt, and allergens effectively
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to health standards, including desks, fixtures, and high-touch areas
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock needs replenishing
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or damage
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote environmentally friendly practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery including carpet extractors and floor buffers
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality cleanliness standards
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, bending, and lifting
- Familiarity with environmental services best practices is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently
