Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Installer to join our growing team. This position is responsible for leading the installation of custom cabinetry, countertops, architectural millwork, and commercial casework while ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the installation of custom cabinetry, laminate cabinetry, countertops, and architectural millwork on commercial and residential projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, layouts, and installation plans.
- Verify field conditions and identify potential installation challenges before work begins.
- Install cabinetry, countertops, hardware, trim, fillers, panels, and accessories with precision.
- Perform field modifications as necessary while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
- Mentor and assist apprentice and junior installers on proper installation techniques.
- Complete punch lists and final quality inspections before project completion.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Communicate project progress, material shortages, and field issues promptly.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule while meeting company quality expectations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience installing custom cabinetry, countertops, architectural millwork, or commercial casework.
- Ability to independently lead installations from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of cabinet installation, trim work, and finish carpentry.
- Experience installing laminate, solid surface, quartz, and stone countertops is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and shop drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial construction experience.
- Experience operating forklifts, lifts, or other job site equipment.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
- Ability to train and mentor less experienced installers.
