Jung Express / Jung Logistics is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to support our Southern Wisconsin territory. This role is ideal for someone with a dynamic, friendly personality who enjoys building relationships, learning a fast-paced business, and representing a trusted brand in the field.
The ideal candidate is sharp, positive, honest, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while supporting a team environment.
Position Overview
This is a 60% outside / 40% inside role. The selected candidate will be assigned an existing customer base and will work closely with an Account Manager to maintain accurate account information, strengthen relationships, and provide excellent service.
You will regularly visit customers on-site, engage in meaningful conversations, and gather useful insights to help better serve their expedited freight needs. Business Casual attire is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support an assigned customer account base by in-person visits, phone calls and emails.
- Assist the Account Manager with account updates, communication, and follow-ups
- Conduct on-site customer visits throughout Southern Wisconsin and possibly parts of Northern Illinois
- Build rapport, ask the right questions, and gather valuable customer feedback
- Maintain accurate customer and activity records
- Represent Jung Express professionally in person and over the phone
Qualifications
- Friendly, confident, and professional communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable personal vehicle and willingness to drive to customers (Fuel Reimbursement)
- Comfortable driving
- Previous experience visiting customers on-site is preferred
- Willingness to learn the expedited freight and logistics industry
- This is not a remote position, you must reside with in a distance that allows you to work occasionally from the office.
