**Job Title:** Class A Truck Driver
Jaxon Aggregates Madera Quarry is seeking an experienced and dependable Class A Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, a minimum of 5 years of commercial driving experience, and the flexibility to support a variety of transportation and operational needs across our facilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, in a safe and efficient manner
- Transport aggregate, asphalt, and related materials to and from plant locations
- Safely operate equipment in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs
- Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper handling and securement
- Demonstrate flexibility by operating other equipment such as haul trucks when needed
- Assist with yard duties, plant support, or other tasks as assigned
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and team members
**Qualifications:**
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Minimum of 5 years commercial driving experience
- Tanker endorsement (required)
- Doubles endorsement (required)
- Clean driving record and commitment to safety
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
- Willingness to perform a variety of duties beyond driving as needed
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving
- Capable of lifting, climbing, and performing physical tasks related to equipment operation
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
