Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that any potential threats are promptly addressed.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the premises.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing detailed reports on incidents or breaches.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraud attempts and taking appropriate action.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- CA BSIS Guard Card
- CA BSIS Open Carry Permit
- Clean Driving Record
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
