American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum) position requiring at least 2 years of experience across labor, postpartum, and nursery care in an acute care setting.

Work in a 10-bed LDRP unit with a Level II Nursery and one Operating Suite within an acute care hospital setting
-
Unit performs approximately 50–65 deliveries per month
-
RNs are cross-trained for Labor & Delivery, Couplet Care, Newborn Nursery, Level II Nursery, and C-section circulating
-
Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, minimum 3 shifts per week

Every other weekend required

No on-call responsibilities

EMR: MEDITECH
-
13-week contract
-
Active MO or Compact RN license required
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP

Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Labor & Delivery required

Experience with labor, postpartum, and newborn/nursery care required

Primary focus is Labor & Delivery, with cross-training responsibilities across couplet care, newborn nursery, Level II Nursery, and C-section circulating

Competency with both labor/postpartum and nursery care is emphasized by the unit manager as essential for success in this role

OR green scrubs are required and are provided by the facility with access to a changing locker room

The facility is located in a peak tourism area through Labor Day — candidates should plan to secure housing early
