Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeping staff to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. This role is essential in providing guests with a comfortable and welcoming environment, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Prior experience in cleaning or hospitality is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to contribute to a team committed to excellence. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces
- Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning as needed
- Handle laundry duties for linens and towels efficiently
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality
- Restock amenities and supplies in guest rooms according to hotel standards
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidates
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces including floors, carpets, and fixtures
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service expectations is a plus
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment or floor care is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in a customer-focused environment
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
