Position Overview
A Park Slope family is seeking an experienced, energetic part-time Nanny for their three-year-old daughter. Beginning this September, their daughter will be in school through the early afternoon, and the family is looking for a dependable caregiver to handle pick-up and carry the day through the evening routine.
The role centers on school pick-up, after-school activities, and the child's daily care — preparing snacks and meals, managing her laundry, and keeping her room, closet, and play spaces organized. Everything is walkable, so no license or car is required. Occasional full-day coverage is needed when school is not in session.
Their daughter is outgoing and full of energy, and the family is hoping to find someone active and genuinely engaging — warm and fun, but comfortable setting boundaries, reinforcing good manners, and keeping screen time to a minimum. Familiarity with Park Slope and the surrounding neighborhoods is a plus, and Spanish is a bonus but not a requirement.
