Camp Nurse – Berkshire Lake Arts Camp (Immediate Opening)

We are seeking a Camp Nurse to join our team as soon as possible for the remainder of the 2026 summer season through August 2, 2026.

Position Overview
Serve as the primary healthcare provider for our camp community, supporting approximately 100 campers and staff. This role centers on daily medication administration, managing routine illnesses and injuries, and helping maintain a healthy, safe camp environment.
This is a full-time, on-site seasonal position that includes private air-conditioned housing, all meals, Wi-Fi, and six days on/one day off per week.
Responsibilities
- Administer scheduled medications during breakfast and bedtime med passes
- Assess and treat routine illnesses, minor injuries, and day-to-day health concerns
- Monitor and document camper and staff health needs
- Communicate with parents, camp leadership, and healthcare providers as needed
- Manage and maintain the health center, including medication storage, first aid supplies, and medical records
- Respond to emergencies and determine when outside medical care is needed
- Support implementation of camp health protocols and infection prevention practices
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts RN or LPN license
- Experience working with children strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage medication administration accurately
- Calm, professional, and compassionate under pressure
- Comfortable working independently and making clinical decisions
- Comfortable working in a smoke-free, alcohol-free environment

From $1,500 per week, plus:
