About the Role:
The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Supervisory Information Technology (IT) Specialist (NH-2210-03) to work at the 96th Test Wing, 96th Range Group, 96th Test Systems Squadron, Information Systems Management Flight (96 TSSQ/RNXI) at Eglin Air Force Base.
In this position, you will serve as a Flight Chief supervising a team of seven IT Specialists to provide Group-wide NIPR/SIPR IT customer service, equipment account custodianship, IT technology refresh planning/purchasing/execution, and serve as a senior technical advisor for Group-wide IT and cybersecurity efforts.

Typical 2026 salary range: $89,508 to $138,370 per year (includes Locality)
Travel Requirements: Less than 10% travel possible

Desired Skills:
- 4 years experience in IT-related customer service desired
- 2 years experience in cybersecurity management desired
- 1 year experience in supervising or leading teams of IT specialists desired
Major Duties:
- Supervises team of seven IT Specialists
- Manages NIPR/SIPR IT customer service support including hardware/software installs & troubleshooting, vulnerability remediation, and license management
- Oversees IT equipment accounts inventories
- Leads IT technology refresh planning, procurement, and execution
- Facilitates communication and collaboration across Group in tracking cybersecurity activities and managing policy directives for test and evaluation (T&E) systems
- Serves as senior technical advisor for IT and cybersecurity-related topics at Squadron and Group levels
Qualifications/Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period
- Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest
- Obtain & maintain Security clearance
- This is a designated Drug Testing Position
- DAWIA Certification - Engineering and Technical Management Practitioner (grace period will apply)
- Expert knowledge of IT customer service management
- Knowledge of IT lifecycle planning
- Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity/risk management framework (DoDI 8510.01).
