Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and Repair: Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in a range of vehicles, performing repairs with precision and efficiency to meet Thompsons’ standards of quality and integrity.

Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, and fluid top-offs, always with a focus on the safety and satisfaction of our customers.

Customer-Focused Service: Communicate openly and effectively with Service Advisors to provide accurate repair details and cost estimates, demonstrating a servant’s attitude and ensuring the customer’s needs are prioritized.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and team members, supporting one another and embodying the teamwork value to achieve our common goal of exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience as an automotive technician, preferably within a dealership environment.

Certifications: ASE Certification or manufacturer-specific certifications are highly desirable.

Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, performing mechanical repairs, and completing electronic and safety inspections.

Education and Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.

Licensing: Valid Driver’s License.

All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include: background checks, MVR, and drug testing in order to qualify for employment.
Salary range: $33.00 - $50.00 flat rate
