Direct Care Dayshift Supervisor (Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Position Summary
The Children’s Home of Easton is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Direct Care Dayshift Supervisor to provide leadership and coordination for our Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM shift. This position plays a key role in supporting our on-grounds educational program, supervising direct care staff, and ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for the residents we serve.

Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Operations & Coordination
- Act as the primary liaison with the Director of Campus Operations and caseworkers regarding school programming, appointments, and resident needs
- Maintain accurate attendance records for the on-grounds educational program
- Administer educational assessments as assigned (e.g., Woodcock-Johnson)
- Coordinate school drop-offs and pick-ups as needed
- Ensure timely arrival of residents and staff to the education building
- Complete Daily Shift Reports and required documentation
- Conduct weekly cottage checks
Staff Supervision & Leadership
- Supervise and support Direct Care staff on the day shift
- Conduct weekly supervision sessions
- Approve timecards and monitor use of PTO
- Address performance concerns in accordance with agency policy
- Participate in required meetings and weekly supervision
Resident Care & Support
- Assist in the classroom as a Teacher’s Aide
- Maintain appropriate supervision and staff-to-resident ratios
- Provide crisis intervention using TCI and agency protocols
- Model professionalism, respect, and dignity in all interactions
Compliance & Safety
- Complete all incident reports and required logs in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with agency, county, and state regulations
- Support a safe and structured environment for residents and staff
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and supervising the Summer Program
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 5 years experience in child welfare, residential treatment, foster care, or human services strongly preferred
Required
- 21 years or older
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a physical examination
- Ability to obtain all required clearances and complete mandated training (TCI, Medication Administration, etc.)
Clearances must be obtained prior to the start of in-house training.
Clearance costs are reimbursed after six (6) months of employment.
Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to use standard office equipment
- Flexibility to work extended hours when needed

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
